he proprietors of the Bald Mountain House are Monica and Tony Martin. Monica is a professional chef, interior decorator, a former professional educator, and a retired flight attendant. Monica's husband, Tony, has a doctorate in Human Resources, is a mechanical contractor, former public education administrator, active Rotarian and a past officer of Rotary International. They share their living quarters with their two small dachshunds, Rocko and Dolly.

onica and Tony are relaxing atop Big Bald Mountain (elevation 5,516 feet) overlooking a breathtaking 100-mile, 360 degree view of The Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, Virginia, and North Carolina. Big Bald is a wonderful picnic site during the summer and fall seasons and is readily accessible from our location.
